The service

NeoReceipt is a tool that scans receipts, categorizes expenses into IRS Schedule C categories, and lets you export records. It is a record-keeping and organization tool, not a tax preparation or filing service.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to form a binding contract. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

Subscriptions and billing

• NeoReceipt offers a free plan and a paid subscription. Paid plans renew automatically until you cancel.
• Payments are processed by our payment processor. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method.
• You can cancel any time and will keep access through the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds are not available. Please review our refund policy.
• We may change pricing or plan features, and we will give reasonable notice of material changes.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, including by attempting to disrupt it, access it without authorization, upload unlawful content, or use it to violate the rights of others. You are responsible for the content you upload and confirm you have the right to upload it.

Not tax or legal advice

NeoReceipt, including its categories, calculators, and estimates, is for informational and organizational purposes only and is not tax, legal, or accounting advice. Automated extraction and categorization may contain errors, so you are responsible for reviewing your records and figures. Confirm anything important with a qualified professional before filing.

Availability

We work to keep the service available and reliable, but we provide it on an as-is and as-available basis without warranties of any kind. We may modify or discontinue features over time.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NeoReceipt is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any lost profits, lost data, or tax outcomes arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Termination

You can stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are violated. You can export your data before closing your account.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page, and your continued use means you accept the updated terms.
