Every way to find your Lowe's receipt
1. Online orders (Lowes.com or the app)
- Sign in to Lowes.com or the Lowe's app.
- Open Order History from your account.
- Select the order to view, print, or reprint the receipt.
2. In-store purchases linked to MyLowe's
- If you gave your MyLowe's phone number or used a Lowe's consumer or Pro card at checkout, the purchase is tied to your account.
- Sign in and open your purchase history to find and reprint the in-store receipt.
3. Customer service / card lookup
- If nothing was linked, visit the service desk or contact Lowe's customer service.
- Provide the card used, the date, and the store so they can locate the transaction and reprint it, within their lookup window.
MyLowe's and Pro accounts make lookups easier
A MyLowe's account (or a Lowe's Pro account for tradespeople) links your in-store and online purchases so they appear in one purchase history. Giving your phone number at the register is enough to attach a trip.
Pro members get extended purchase tracking, which is useful when you need to pull months of material receipts for a job or for taxes.
Returns and warranties
Within the return window, Lowe's can usually locate a purchase from the original card or your MyLowe's account, so bring the card and a photo ID. Having the receipt on your phone speeds it up.
For a manufacturer warranty on tools or appliances, keep the itemized receipt showing the item, date, and price.
Keeping Lowe's receipts for taxes
If you buy materials, tools, or supplies for work, those are deductible business expenses, and the IRS expects the itemized receipt rather than just a card charge. Larger tools may be expensed under Section 179.
Because a Lowe's trip often mixes job materials with personal items, pull the receipt and separate the business lines when you buy, so your deductible spending is captured and categorized.
Good to know
- Give your MyLowe's phone number at checkout so in-store purchases save to your account automatically.
- Tradespeople: a Lowe's Pro account keeps months of material receipts in one purchase history.
- No linked account? Customer service can look up an in-store purchase by the card you used.
Never hunt for a receipt again
Found it? Keep it, and every future receipt, in one place. NeoReceipt lets you snap a photo or forward a receipt email, then reads it and files it into the right tax category. If you are self-employed, that means every deduction is captured and nothing goes missing.
